After playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 to near completion, I have had the pleasure of experiencing Lorien Testard and Alice Duport-Percier’s incredible soundtrack. This soundtrack perfectly captures the beauty of Expedition 33: the characters, the vast open world, the action, and the emotions. Besides its connections with the game, the soundtrack is, in itself, a work of art. The singing is at times haunting and at others, wistful. It’s then paired with the ultra-talented sounds made by Testard and Curieux Orchestre at Midilive Studios, Paris to create a dazzling atmosphere of joy and sorrow. This soundtrack moved me so much that I had to own it, and I’m so glad that I do.
